Sun Devil Football is set to host a free Sun Devil Youth Experience Clinic on Saturday, April 15 at Sun Devil Stadium.
The free youth clinic will begin after the Sun Devils’ final spring practice, which begins at 2 p.m., and is open to boys and girls, ages 8-13 and who are not enrolled in 9th grade or above. Participants must turn the age of 8 years old by March 28 and walk-ups will not be allowed. The clinic is entirely free of charge, as well as parking, and is open to the first 700 youth to register.
The clinic gives young athletes the opportunity to work with Sun Devil Football Head Coach Todd Graham, the 2013 Pac-12 Coach of the Year, and his staff, which includes Offensive Coordinator Billy Napier, Associate Head Coach and Special Team Coordinator Shawn Slocum, Defensive Coordinator Phil Bennett and more.
The participants will be led in four 10-minute segments, going over form tackling, ball skills, running, and blocking, vital fundamentals for football players.
Registrants are required to fill out the registration form found in the PDF at the top of this page as well as complete the waiver and medical treatment release form that is also found above. Both must be filled out and returned either by email or fax to Sun Devil Football at 480-965-8370 or firstname.lastname@example.org. Pre-registration is required and registration will not be accepted on site the day of the event. Registration is due by 5 p.m. on April 10.
ASU spring break is March 6-10 and ASU staff will be unable to assist in registration during that time.
Space is limited and only the first 700 youth to register will be enrolled in the clinic. Those attending are required to wear tennis shoes or rubber-soled shoes and encouraged to wear shorts/sweatpants and a t-shirt or sweatshirt, preferably representing Arizona State University. Participants will not wear helmets or shoulder pads, and are asked not to wear other college apparel out of respect for our university, football program, coaches and student-athletes.
Check-in for the clinic will take place from 2:30 p.m. to 3 p.m. at Sun Devil Stadium. Parents and guardians must stay on the premises until the conclusion of the clinic. Sun Devil Football is not responsible for participants following the conclusion of the clinic.
Parking is available for free at the Packard Drive Parking Structure off of Packard Drive as well as at the Stadium Structure off of Veterans Way.
Those with any further questions should contact Sun Devil Football at 480-965-3429 or email@example.com. In case of inclement weather, the clinic will be canceled. For more information on Sun Devil Football camps, visit www.thesundevils.com.
